Mountain House prices are up!
 

Looks like cases of MH meats are up over 20% at frugalsquirell. Cases of ground beef are $170 from $140. Everything else is up across the board. Guess I waited too long. :rant:

Anyone know how much beef those cans rehydrate into? They weigh 1lb 13oz's dry. I'm trying to figure cost per pound to see if its worth grabbing a case or two.

Well what did you expect??


Between the hyperinflation of the FED.... and the food panic that is just starting to grip the globe.. you thought prices were going stay at a even keel??


Let me share some VERY bad news with you... prices of long term food items and essentianl nick nacks are going to go up another 22-66% THIS YEAR....

I dont want to even THINK about the first quater of 09...

My foolish advice: Get as much as you can ,as fast as you can , within the parameters of the budget you set for yourself. dollar cost average if you have to as long as you are systematcially you will come out the winner no matter the price.

Prices are only going one place: UP

Vacuum sealed 64lbs of black beans today. I'm with TA on this, prices are just starting to go up.
